Very old, I wanted to make my own gemsona and I loved how the azurite gem looks (it reminded me of magic for some reason) and designed a witchy character based off the stone. Their wand is based off their gemstone, they can use it to pick up objects/manipulate their size and shape. Their 'third eye' is their gem, it's hidden behind their hair and is where they summon their wand. I do want to take some time and actually make their design good sometime later whenever I'm not overwhelmed with other art ideas.
