Kai was one of my first commissions when I started off and used the first beanie patterns I have drafted. The first beanie pattern was very flat, as I did not know how much stuffing to add in with the beans and also I did not have space in the back like I did with the newer beanie pattern to allow for volume. There was one other commission I did with this pattern, which I did not have pictures for. (It is from this mockup sheet.)
Kai's color palette was interesting, I did not have to worry too much about embroidery for this one since the main embroidery would have been his face, which is covered.
